I have used Todoist in the past, but now I want my data local. I was unable to sort my tags in April and in January Todoist was unusable due to an AWS issue.

I'm currently using OmniFocus as it is local first and I haven't had any issues syncing.

I didn’t know Omnifocus stored data locally, that’s good to hear. I assume it’s in a format you have the ability to use should the app no longer work, is that right?

"Your OmniFocus data belongs to you. If you want to send it to other applications, run scripts on it, publish it on the web, or do other exciting stuff with it that we haven’t even thought of, you’re more than welcome to export it to the format of your liking."
